Next up in Graham Churella’s “Low Budget Existence” is the friends section.  Lots of great lines, amazing looking spots, and one hell of a frontside wallride are only part of this section of the video.  Here’s to anxiously awaiting the next part.

Warm Up Spots.

Both of the Blood Brothers from issue eleven were in town this weekend.  With this being the first nice weekend of the year everyone was in good spirits and ready to shred.  I think that Jeremiah Stevens had landed this trick before, but if this is the kind of spot that you are warming up with it is a good indication that these dudes are gonna get some tricks…Case Mahan.  FS 180.  Louisville, KY

Low Budget Existence Online Premiere.

A while back I posted the trailer for theProgram homey Graham Churella’s video “Low Budget Existence” here on the site.  Well, due to some unforseen shadiness and wack behavior, Graham has foregone releasing the video on DVD and is instead releasing a new piece of the video weekly.  He’s already posted the intro and Joe Andrews’ part, and we’ll be bringing you the updates when each part is released.  So far, the video is looking really, really good with lots of Midwest and Southeast footage.  SUPPORT INDEPENDENT FILM MAKING.

Uber-friend of theProgram, and international man of semi-mystery, Isaac McKay-Randozzi spent the day with Ben Gore and Brian Delatorre and made an edit for today’s episode of Stereo Skateboards’ “Agency Thursdays.”  Makes me miss SF even more.

Anything Finite.

In move that can only be described as one of unabashed self-promotion, I want to let you all know that I updated my photo site called Anything Finite.  Some of the photos you’ve seen, some you haven’t, and some you might have seen a long time ago and forgotten about.  Some of the photos have audio captions just telling little backstories and whatnot, some do not.  I think, at least for right now, I actually like every photo that’s on the site.  I’m sure that will change in 10 minutes.

One of my favorite people on and off a skateboard, and owner of the quickest feet in skateboarding, Dan Plunkett has a welcome video for Elwood Clothing that’s 2 minutes of pure goodness, including footage of this photo which I didn’t even know existed.  I’m stoked that Dan’s finally getting the recognition he deserves…been killing it for way too long.

The latest in theProgram’s series of skate montages on Havoc TV went live today.  For those of you with On Demand as part of your digital cable, you can (and should) watch all of theProgram videos over and over and over and over.  The latest montage is mostly unseen footage featuring loads of rippers from all over the Midwest.

We Want Your Footage, Again.

So in the wake of all this controversy, we here at theProgram have decided that there is not a better time than now to have another reader-submitted footage montage.  The last one was a huge success, so let’s make this one even better.

Send all footage to matt@theprogramzine.com via www.yousendit.com and make sure that it is FULL DV QUALITY.   Do not compress anything, just send the files as you have captured them.  Make sure you include the skater’s and filmer’s names in the email you send so that Matt can give you the credit you deserve.  If you live in the Louisville area, you can also drop footage tapes or DVDs off at Home Skateshop, RIOT Skatepark, or Tiny Skateshop.  The deadline for submissions is April 15, 2010.

We know that there are a lot of you out there that film, so I really hope that Matt’s inbox gets flooded with clips.  Make sure to include alternate angles and other footage of you and your crew having fun if you have it.  These things makes for better edits.

Go get you some!

The fellas over at The Skateboard Mag had a Photofile contest where they were giving away 10 sets of Thunder trucks thanks to Jim over at Deluxe.  Well, the results are out and two close friends of theProgram, Matt Sharer and Phil Blair, teamed up to shoot one of the photos that got picked to be in the final cut.  Congrats duders!~ Couple of killers, you two.
