Dane Warner has been putting out bulletins on Myspace for months now asking for help with working on a friend’s mini-ramp on the outskirts of town. Well, that ramp is now done, and if you didn’t help work on it, you’ll probably never skate it. But then again, who wants to skate a perfect mini-ramp on private property where you can do as you please?
Dane Warner, lien air.

I travel back and forth between Washington, PA and Parkersburg, WV quite frequently. Actually more frequently than is fiscally responsible with the inflated gas prices that our wonderful government has backed us into, but we’ll leave that for another post.
Well this past weekend was for the most part typical. Friday was spent stopping at little dive bars all along Route 2 with the final destination being the Moose Lodge in Parkersburg to watch a high school buddy’s band play one of their first gigs.

The next day was spent in a bit of a daze playing slow pitch softball. That’s what us has been skateboarders do with our weekends you see. It was good fun as I wore my RVCA Slow Death shirt to get in the heads of batters as I pitched.
Well the weekend fun was over and everything was gravy until I got back to Washington and came home to this.

It seems a neighbor had been smoking while lying in bed and accidentally went up in flames. News reports said he sustained burns over 90% of his body and ended up passing away later that evening. My apartment is one set over from his and luckily my stuff didn’t get damaged other than some smoke smell. It was a weird feeling knowing that something completely out of your control could have so dramatically changed your life. I was able to find solace though, in the sweet company of the local watering hole and it’s perfectly proportioned employee.

Until next time,
Stalnaker out.
I’m sure most of you know by now that Chris “Chili” Ennis is a ripper, BUT, I don’t think many of you have seen him kill it in a hat. That’s about to change.
Both of these are Okolona spots, and both of them have terrible roll up. If you’ve ever been to the “Yummy’s bump” before, you know how serious it is.
I’ve seen several people step to this beast, and it normally doesn’t end up too well. It’s really time for someone to take charge of this thing.
Mikey Roges tried yesterday, but the spot reached up and twisted his ankle before he could put four down. So here’s a polaroid I shot of him trying it.

I apologize to all of theBloggers who read this on a regular basis. I haven’t been putting up much lately, but I’m hoping to get things straightened out to where that’s not the case anymore. Although, at the same time, me not posting is a good thing. It means that whatever I’m shooting is being saved up for theProgram video. More details on that later.
The clip below of Aaron Vincent is by far my favorite thing that I’ve ever filmed. Ever. I really can’t say why, because I don’t know for sure. I think it’s a combination of the skyline, my love for the way that spot looks or Aaron Vincent’s extreme finesse and power on top of a skateboard. Yeah, that’s it.
is always one of the roughest. Mikey after the rail a couple posts back.
