Mumbo Sauce.

The Washington DC scene has always been sick, so it should be no surprise that there are a lot of rippers coming out of that area these days.  Bradley Rosado’s new video Mumbo Sauce features a lot of those rippers, including a favorite of mine for a minute now, Daniel Kim.

Matt Brewer’s a filmer from southern Indiana and has a blog called Everday Skateboarding onto which he puts a good deal of what he films.  For those of you that missed Alex Hancock’s sponsor-me reel (which was apparently leaked and was taken down by request), there’s some footage of both him and his friend Dalton Wilcox ripping on the latest post on Matt’s site.

As Seen On TV.

Yes, TV as in television.  I’m proud to announce that theProgram has teamed up with Havoc TV and will be offering exclusive video content available on Video On Demand on Insight Cable and every other digital cable provider in the nation and also as part of regular programming on DirecTV.  What this means is that not only will you be able to get your daily dose of theProgram on the internet, but you can turn on your television set and watch television exclusive content from us whenever you want with Video On Demand.  And it means we get to say “check your local listings” to those of you with DirecTV.  Some of the content will be remixes of montages, some of it will be new clips with a mixture of old and new footage, and some of it will be completely exclusive, including behind-the-scenes looks of the making of theProgram video which is currently underway.  Which, by the way, when finished will also be available for pay-per-view purchase on Havoc.

It’s an exciting new step for us and although it’s a big one, I’m stoked that everyone involved is jumping in with both feet.

You’ll be able to see theProgram’s content on Video On Demand starting in April and on DirecTV in March.  Mark your calendars, but fear not, we will surely be reminding you as the dates draw closer.

Break’d Again.

Matt Ballard’s clip of Cole Wilson leaving his family jewels hanging up to dry made it into Break’s 87th High Five segment, appropriately titled, “5 degrees of pain.”  Do you congratulate them on this?  I don’t know what proper procedure is in this case.

I have no clue what Solution is, and really the only thing I’ve been able to deduce is that they are based out of Scandinavia somewhere, but they’ve got a video online that is so phenomenal that it has unfortunately lit my skate fires today.  I say unfortunately because it’s the middle of the winter and snow is falling as I sit here and peck at the keyboard.  Anyway, the video is called Exposed and not watching it would be doing yourself a great disservice.

Daniel Frank wrote to let us know that he’s got room for 6 to go to the Dayton premiere on Wednesday February 4th and that he’s looking for people to go with him to split gas.  Hurry up and contact him soon so that you can get a ride to the premiere of the most anticipated skate video since that one Lakai video.

Wes Husband is part of the Dirty City collection of blogs that cover skateboarding in the cities of Chicago and Daytona and now Louisville.  Wes chose to make his first entry about theProgram and we’re very thankful to him for that.  Thanks Wes!  Now, if we could just get him to spell the city’s name right.

rarely go hand in hand.  But, this man is will no longer be thePresident.  I usually reserve political conversations for the bar or friends.  Today I am going to make an exception, because today is  definitely a day to celebrate… Can’t knock the guy to hard for staring at this tall drink of water…

New Video.

We keep hearing about how we take skateboarding too seriously and that we just need to stop being so serious and start having more fun.  The funny thing is, everytime we go out, we have a blast.  How?  By not taking ourselves too seriously.  The new video up over there to the right shows myself, Matt Ballard, and Cole Wilson doing just that in the middle of a day full of skating on our last trip to the Bay Area.
