Rough Day in the Streets.
Sometimes you run the streets, sometimes the streets run you. Guess what type of day today was?

There’s nothing like driving 3 hours to a skatepark to blow a photo. Dane Warner was killing it this past Saturday and it’s a damn shame that I wasn’t able to better capture his ripping. This backside noseblunt on the loveseat of the pool at the Powell, Ohio skatepark was no joke, but the photo is absolutely laughable. Sorry Dane.

Josh Stewart’s got a new Magic Skate Ball clip up over at his Theories of Atlantis site. You already know what to expect from Mr. Stewart, so sit back and feast on this one.

Why hasn’t theProgram homey Tony Manfre been on the couch over at Thrasher talking about Wallenberg with Phelps? We don’t know either, but the fellas at SLAP have picked up the slack and threw up a little clip of their own with the first (and only?) guy to go at the 4 block switch without a ramp.

Dave Ackels’ Absorb video series is back with a Memorial Day Special for all of us to enjoy. Every single time he puts out one of these new videos, I’m blown away by the stuff he’s able to capture and his penchant for capturing it in a way that’s visually stunning, even on a little point and shoot digi cam.

Just got an email with some pictures of a new(ish) DIY spot that’s popped up here in Louisville. Jason Zook and his homey Colt Stepp are the main guys behind it, so if you find the spot, you can thank them for it. We’re stoked to see the DIY attitude spreading through out the area!

For those of you in and around the Bay Area, theProgam associate known as Isaac McKay-Randozzi will be celebrated at the release party for his collaboration with Stereo Skateboards this Friday. Don’t sleep on the Don!

People are always saying things to me like “I’m sure Cole Wilson would just do this first try” when I’m out shooting with them and they are struggling to make a trick. Well, sometimes they are right. But then again, sometimes things like this happen. I wish I had more Break IDs so I could give this slam 4 thumbs up. Make sure to cast your vote to put this on the homepage!
And here’s the last frame of the sequence that I shot before I freaked out.

The Hifi Powerslide Contest is OVER! Randy Smith and Matt Sharer will be receiving sets of HiFi wheels in the mail because of their tag-team effort on the winning video that you can view there to the right. Thanks to everyone who entered and stay tuned for more contests coming up this month.

Check out our newest homies over at Push The Wood. Also check out that first video featuring one Mr. Brooks Shuping making epic things happen.
