Get it while it’s hot! This past weekend’s “Get Buck for Deluxe” contest was fully covered and there are words, photos, and a video that should give you a pretty good idea of just exactly what went down, when, where, and by who. Photos and stories are up there in the banner and the video is over there in the playlist. Get stoked and then go get buck!
Between putting out a full part in the new Adidas Diagonal video and designing his new shoe for Adidas, its amazing he even had time to go down to the berrics and win his first game of skate. 
Chima has a quick interview with Darin about his contest win over the weekend. 
In case you guys were too busy getting buck for the Deluxe barge contest this weekend, there were two epic games of skate at the Berrics. Chris Cole vs. Mike V. and Dennis Busenitz vs. Jamie thomas.

Here are some general details that should help clear up some questions I’ve heard.
1. The first spot will be the Waterfront 7 stair. Be there by 1pm.
2. This is a best trick contest at each spot. You will have 20 minutes or until we get the boot to get your trick. Best trick in that time wins.
3. You don’t have to register, pay anything, get a number, or sign-up to the Slim Jim newsletter to be in the contest. Just show up and get buck!
4. If it rains, we’ll let you know about the rescheduled date. If I had to guess I would say it would just be the next weekend.

Even after he had his interview in theProgram, Jeremiah Stevens was on a mission to get as many photos as he could. I think we shot this photo and the photo of the bump to back smith that was in the Louisville article on SLAP in the same week.
This spot is right beside a ridiculously busy street, which made for difficult timing to get a clean shot from this angle that was across the street. Plus, I had to set up one of my lights in one of the lanes of traffic, which for those of you who know, is a sketchy feeling. Eventually, I decided to just mark where the legs of the tripod should be and have Chris Ennis place the rig on the spot when the traffic was clear. It worked out well and when Jeremiah cranked this one out and over the hydrant and I released the shutter, I instantly knew we had a winner.
