If you thought Get Buck for Deluxe was a good contest, then you are gonna lose your mind over The Street Turkey Shootout.  Presented by HOME Skateshop in conjuction with theProgram, The Street Turkey Shootout is going to be the biggest skate contest to ever hit the streets of Louisville.  Crews will take to the streets of the city and the surrounding areas for 3 days completing challenges and doing tricks for points along the way.  Part scavenger hunt, part best trick contest, part Amazing Race, this is going to be insane.  Stay tuned for details.

Contributor to and friend of theProgram Sam McGuire has had an amazing year being the lens.  From The Skateboard Mag to Gatorade, Sam has shot a ton of the shit you’ve seen in skateboarding this year.  And speaking of Gatorade, they put up this video of he and Malto shooting the switch flip ad that came out a few months ago.  Pretty dope behind-the-scenes look at how this year’s SOTY front-runner (as some would argue) gets down and the relationship that he and Sam have when shooting.
