Spring Sessions - Radley’s Ramp.

When the sun comes out after a long winter of snow and darkness, it’s time to BBQ and skate a mini ramp.  Luckily, we’ve got Radley and his girl Lynn to handle the ramp ownership and the food stuffs.  It was so awesome to see so many different generations of skateboarders on the ramp, sharing the love.  I hope we can do it again soon fellas.  Ballard and Jilbert collabo’d on this edit and for me, its the most “I gotta get out and skate” clip I’ve seen all year.

Uber-friend of theProgram, Dave Waite, runs 35th Ave Skateshop in Federal Way, Washington.  He and the shop are the most current subjects of The Berrics’ “Field Ops” video series.  It makes me smile so huge to see guys like Dave get the recognition he deserves.  If you have ever wondered what the proper way to run a skateshop is, call Dave…he’s got it 100% right.

This issues interviewees, Case Mahan and Brooks Shuping are featured in a short clip called “Somewhere Place.”  They went out skating together, filmed each other, and then Case edited it up into a delicious little nugget of monochrome goodness.  Loving it.

Ballard’s been hard at work on a new edit for theSite (and he’s still waiting for your footage entries by the way), but found the time to head to Ollie’s Skatepark with Cole Wilson and Mikey Roges to film this quick little clip.  Don’t let the length fool you, this one’s packed full of bangers.

I’m convinced that you cant plan out a good day of shredding. It just has to happen naturally.  Today was one of those naturally occurring fun days.  I’m not even really sure how it all came together.  I can’t remember if I called Bryan Jones or if he called me, and I’m not sure how we picked up Ryan  and Connor. However it all came together, it worked out.

Bryan Jones nose grind pop out.

Connor Clark fs smith bs 180 in

Kolton Nelson bs tail slide shuv it

Ryan Tassi blunt slide.

I have to say thanks to Giles, Connor, and Zack for making this my new favorite chill spot.

Damn, Graham is just dropping everything all at once.  If this comes out on DVD, you need to buy it.  But for now, check out Cyril Jackson, Friend Section 2, Travis Ussleman and Brandon Berglof, and Friend Section 3.  Tons of amazing skating in these sections!

UPDATE - Graham just put up Billy Moyle’s part and….HOLY SHIT!  That dude is incredible.  Great trick selection and the longest salad grind I’ve ever seen.  To all you ledge tappers out there, this is how you really do grinds.

Next up in Graham Churella’s “Low Budget Existence” is the friends section.  Lots of great lines, amazing looking spots, and one hell of a frontside wallride are only part of this section of the video.  Here’s to anxiously awaiting the next part.

Both of the Blood Brothers from issue eleven were in town this weekend.  With this being the first nice weekend of the year everyone was in good spirits and ready to shred.  I think that Jeremiah Stevens had landed this trick before, but if this is the kind of spot that you are warming up with it is a good indication that these dudes are gonna get some tricks…Case Mahan.  FS 180.  Louisville, KY
